I paddled among the San Juans once, many years ago, PK (pre-kids) and loved it. Mainly, I paddle on the rivers and lakes near Bend, OR where I live. Paddling gives me a sense of peace I can't find anywhere else. It's an escape from noise and people and complication. : ) I own a 14 foot Dagger Kayak and I paddle as much as I can.
